These canvas bin carts are my favorite storage for CTMH stamp sets. Each set comes in a plastic envelope and I like to file them in the canvas bins by category...fonts, sentiments, backgrounds, floral, etc. The bin I have pulled out holds 56 stamp sets!! I guess my secret is out...I am addicted to CTMH My Acrylix!!
This simple design features CTMH's new Mishief papers. This pack is considered the Halloween pack for this year, but the papers (especially the 'backs') are very traditional designs. It's a very versatile paper pack.
Well, it's back to school time. The mailbox contains sale ads nearly everday & the stores have all the newest products on the shelves. Even though my son doesn't get very excited about school-shopping, I love checking out all the new goodies! It's a great time to check out products to use as scrap/stamp storage! In the 'dorm' sections there are fun items in cool colors that work great for creative spaces.
I recently picked up a couple new drawer units in my favorite 'green apple' color at Shopko. I have been cleaning & re-organizing my station again! So I will post photos soon.

I created this card box filled with coordinating notes for a 'Secret Swap' at a recent retreat.

The Art Philosophy cartridge has oodles of card designs! This card with the great cut edge was made quick & easy on the Cricut. It also features the new Dreamin' paper pack and the stamp set Treasure Life...one of my faves!
I LOVE the new Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge! CTMH created stamp sets that fit perfectly with the die cut shapes. For this card I cut the cupcake shapes & stamped the 'frosting' before adding a few 'bling sprinkles'! Too fun!
I spent a few days last week at a scrapping/stamping retreat on Minnesota's North Shore of Lake Superior. It was a great time with friends & everyone who tried the new CTMH exclusive cartridge was immediately 'bitten by the bug'! (Cricut bug, that is!) I have more designs to share with you in the days ahead :)

I truly hope someone is still following my blog! I know I have really neglected it for months!
But I am SO EXCITED with some new things coming from Close To My Heart! Convention just wrapped up in Anaheim, CA at Disneyland ...wish I could have been there :( But the money I saved by staying home (& working) is already spent on amazing new product. CTMH now has an exclusive Cricut cartridge with 3 coordinating stamp sets & chipboard die-cuts!!!
Also, 8 great new paper packs...really versatile!
AND prices on stamp sets have gone DOWN!!
There is so much to share...I can't take the time now, but the new Autumn/Winter Idea Book is available August 1st. Contact me for your very own copy or check it out online!

It's been forever since my last post! I got a new 'day-job' in February, which I love! However, it has definitely lessened my creative time. But it's a great time to share CTMH's upcoming special. Be sure to watch the video...I can't wait to get my hands on the new, exclusive kit!
I wanted to try something a little different for this 'Valentine'! I combined the new Sweetheart products with some animal print paper from the retired pack, "Expedition".
I used the stamp set, Wild Thing.
Inside the card it reads,
"You make my heart sing!"
CTMH has a new product available, a spray pen. You mix water, re-inker color of your choice, and a bit of peart paint to basically create your own glimmer mist. I tried it out last week to create some Valentine cards. I hope you can see it in the photos...I masked off a circle that will appear white and then sprayed my mist with Baby Pink re-inker.
This first card uses Sweetheart papers and the new epoxy embellishments, as well as some chipboard hearts.
Today I finished the gift album I have been working on. Our pastor & his wife will be grandparents for the first time and I wanted to make something special.
Title page:
A grandchild is a gift from above, one to cherish & to love.
Great joy comes in seeing our family enter another generation.
I thought I had forgotten how to hold a baby...but my arms remember.
God gives us Grandkids to keep us young at heart.
Grandchildren are loving reminders of what we are really here for.
Baby just another word for love.
A family is a gift that lasts forever.
Baby face, you've got the cutest little baby face!
Now I lay me down to sleep.
A gift from above.
I don't know why...but masculine cards are harder for me to design. I was pushed outside my comfort zone today, as we have some nephews with birthdays coming up soon.
The first card uses some themed basketball papers I had on hand and the stamp set 'Shootin Hoops'. I also added a basketball button for dimension & fun!
This next card is for our nephew who loves to hunt. The stamp set is appropriately called 'Hunting' and uses Back country papers.
This last card features CTMH's Route 66 papers. That is one of my all-time favorite paper packs!
I tried to keep their individual interests in mind while I created each one.
Hope they like them!
I have had another test of my patience since yesterday. NO internet! That makes me very crabby! Thankfully we are up and running now so I will quick post before anything else happens!
We have friends who will be grandparents for the first time this spring, so I wanted to make them an album to have ready when the baby arrives, so they can easily record all those 'Firsts'.
Yesterday I finally got started with the first page:
I love covering Dimensional Elements alphabet letters with patterned papers and adding a little embellishing.
I also LOVE the new Bohemian Alphabet stamp set! I used it to spell beautiful. It is available to order now!
I just had to get out and finally dig into my new Spring products from CTMH! I used the new Sweetheart Paper Packet and the stamp set called Card Chatter-Love. The colors are Baby Pink & Cocoa Brown. I also used a Martha Stewart border punch...love my punches :).
Close To My Heart has some new button collections that feature these fun shaped buttons that are on the front of the card.

I am so excited to have my 'Creation Station' shown on the Crafty Storage blog today! Welcome to those followers who have found me through that site! Thank you for all your kind words about my station...I feel very fortunate to have my own space to create. If you go to my first post on July 17th, you'll see more of the inside of my station, although a few things have changed since then! I love organizing & re-organizing my supplies almost as much as using them. :) That's why I was excited to find the Crafty Storage site...it shows awesome rooms & great storage ideas for all things crafty!
I got a couple new Cricut cartridges for Christmas that I have been playing with. I used the Paper Lace cartridge to make the 'butterfly lace' on this card...it's a fun accent with the Wings papers.
I used black embroidery floss to sticth along where the papers met. Stamp sets used were A Flitter & Embrace Life. The 'bling' on this card are Licorice Opaques....love them!
It's a new year and I am so grateful for all the blessings in my life. It's also the time to send notes of thanks and gratitude for all the kindnesses shown during the holidays. The Wings papers and A Little Thanks stamp set make it easy to create simple cards.
