The feminine birthday card for my World Card-Making day event was inspired by my friend and fellow CTMH consultant, Lynette.
I made my card much simpler than Lynette's, she is the queen of detailed, gorgeous cards!!
Most of my workshop attendees had never done a paper flower and they were all pretty impressed with themselves at how easy it can be!
The ivory roses are cut from our beautiful rose ribbon, with an ivory pearl added to the center. I love adding them to scrapbook lay-outs too!
Love the new Burlap ribbon!!
This card design is so versatile...you could do the side stamping with many different images: flowers, snowflakes, etc.
This card could be used for a holiday greeting or a winter birthday card.
The mittens and snowflakes were cut using the CTMH Artiste cartidge.
Today I am posting the Holiday Gift Card Holder I created using CTMH Pear and Partidge papers and the Artiste Cricut cartidge. I also taught this same project to fellow consultant friends at our annual Stamp Camp a couple of weeks ago!
It's a little hard to tell in the second photo, but there is a slot where you can slide in a gift card.
Last Saturday, Oct. 6th, was World Card-Making Day and I had a successful event at my home.
Registered guests made 6 different cards:
2 holiday designs
1 masculine birthday card
1 feminine birthday card
1 thank you card
1 sympathy card
They used a variety of techniques and a few of the designs featured the newest
CTMH Cricut cartridge - Artiste!
I will be posting the different cards this week!
First is the masculine card:
It features the CTMH stamp set - Perfect Day.
This is the inside of the card. The lighthouse and boat images were stamped in black and then colored in using various inks with the Waterbrush. Some of the gals had forgotten all about using the Waterbrush! It makes everyone an artist:)
