I just LOVE the new Artbooking Cricut cartridge from CTMH! I made an album using it with a 'girlfriend' theme featuring quotes I 'borrowed' from my friend, Nancy K.! It features the new paper packet called Laughing Lola! Enjoy!
I made this Hinged Display Tray yesterday with CTMH's new Huntington paper pack. It was such a quick, fun project! My mind is spinning with ideas!!
Now that my space is clean and my new product has arrived, I have been creating! CTMH has another fabulous exclusive Cricut cartridge that I just love! It's called Artbooking and has some great options for creating mini albums and full-page layouts!
On Wednesday I created this Baby Mini Album for my aunt who is a first-time grandma!
The album is made from cardstock and is 8" x 6". When you set the dial on your Cricut to create the album base pages, you leave the size dial the same and it automatically cuts all the page accents to fit! Amazing!!
Today I was working on another mini album with a 'girlfriend' theme! I'll post photos when it's complete :)
Vintage cameras from family and friends.
My wicker rocker where I page through inspiration books and my family members like to sit when they come to 'visit'!
The coat tree holds my CTMH apron and my scrapping totes. (And my winter coat 8 months of the year...blech!)
I have a little window AC unit to keep me cool, and my paper from curling when it's humid!
I recently found this fun rug in my favorite colors! It fits perfectly under my tables.
Well, that's it for now! Thanks for looking!
This photo shows the entire west side of my station.
I now have 2 matching desks in the center of my space, butted up to each other for lots of workspace and room for a friend! I find myself sitting to stamp more and so I took apart my 'island' counter (which was just cubbies with a board on top). Those cubbies are now my storage on the north wall.
This shows part of the north wall and the east wall with my paper storage, which I described the other day.
Here is my stamping desk. The slide out keyboard drawer is where I keep my most often-used sizes of acrylic blocks and my double scrubber for cleaning up. My ink pads & markers are right next to me in the revolving tower and the green canvas bins are FULL of My Acrylix stamp sets!
Here are a few more photos of my Creation Station in it's latest arrangement!
The photo above shows my Cricut station.
This is the top door of the cabinet open to show my Cricut cartridges. My CTMH cartridges are almost always IN my machine or in the drawer right under the Cricut! Love them best!!
Continuing around the west wall is my 'embellishment area'! I do love to arrange things by the colors in the rainbow!
More to come!
About a month ago I spent a couple days with my friend, Heidi. Our objective was to create without husbands and kids around! We did a little of that, plus eating & drinking, laughing, watching a movie, and we cleaned up her amazing scrap room! I have to admit, I LOVE that sort of thing and in just a couple hours we had organized her stamp sets and got her paper boxes off the floor! I hope she enjoyed it as much as I did :)
When I got home I was inspired to do some cleaning and organizing in my station. Especially my paper!! I had paper stored on every single wall in my space, so I spent a lot of time searching for the right stuff every time I was ready to get creative. Well, my brilliant friend has her paper organized in alphabetical order by the name of the CTMH paper packet!! I kind of had mine organized by 'theme'...masculine, holiday, girly; but I moved all my paper storage to one wall and am trying this method myself.

I have my cardstock in the far-left cubes in my "rainbow". All the rest is my paper packets in alphabetical order. I have to say it was great the other day when I wanted to do a project using the Miracle papers, I actually found it quite quickly!! Thanks, Heidi!
I can't believe it's been since February since my last post!! I have been MIA due to lots of trips to my parent's for health issues and also for fun events like graduations and weddings!
I just received my new Autumn/Winter Close To My Heart catalogs today and am so excited for all the new products! I have already placed an order and will be hosting an Open House later this month. Stop back for details after the 4th of July holiday & weekend.
Independence Day is also my husband's birthday and this is the card I created for him.
